Initially inspired by the opportunity to lead people and run his own business as well as the unlimited income potential, Paul's goals were to help people become financially secure and ultimately become the number one financial resources firm in the world. Two years into his career, Paul was asked to become the Managing Director of a small, seven-employee office in Trumbull, CT. Throughout the next 15 years under Paul's leadership, Barnum Financial Group grew into one of the largest financial planning firms in the state with over 36 offices throughout CT, NY, NJ, MA, RI, NH and NV and employing 438 people. In 2003 Paul became the youngest inductee into the MetLife Manager's Hall of Fame. In 2006 he became the youngest winner of its Top of the Tower and in 2010 Paul became the youngest manager in MetLifes history to reach Golden Laurent status. He has qualified for 17 consecutive Management Leaders Conferences and nine Chairman's Council Conferences. He received MetLife's Triskelion Award for outstanding management leadership in 2004, 2007 and 2010. Under Pauls leadership, Barnum Financial Group won MetLife's Firm of the Year Award from 2004 to 2008. Paul has contributed to GAMA's Great Ideas book series and served on the GAMA Foundation's Board of Trustees. He has qualified for the Master Agency Award and the International Management Diamond Plus and Diamond Awards. GAMA has named his firm one of the top 100 U.S. financial agencies multiple times. Paul has appeared on SmartMonay radio on WICC and WELI as well as the CEO Show and WTNH's Connecticut Style to provide expert advice on leadership, philanthropy and financial services. Paul has presented main plateform at numerous MetLife and industry events and at GAMA International's LAMP conference. A prominent philanthropist in his community, Paul's ultimate dream is for 100% of his employees to give back to the community in some way. Firmwide projects have included "Bikes for Kids" which involves the donation of 400 new bikes and helmets annually to underprivileged children in NY, CT and RI; "Backpacks for Kids" through which the firm adopted over 75 disadvantaged children and provided them with school supplies and clothing; partnering with KaBoom! to sponsor and construct a playground in Bridgeport, CT; and establishing an annual "What the American Dream Means to Me" essay contest throughout CT, NY and RI, which offers four talented children the opportunity to earn college scholarships. Paul was named Philanthropist of the Year in 2007 by the Fairfield County Remodelers and Home Building Associaton and he was inducted into the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame and Junior Achievement Hall of Fame. His firm was awarded "Best Place to Work in Connecticut" by the Hartford Business Journal in 2006, 2009 and 2010, received the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Growth of the Year Award , the Westchester County Chabad Lubavitch Corporate Leadership Award, and the Valley United Way Community Impact Award. Paul's passion for sports and youth in the community has inspired him to support a local football camp, little league team, adult softball team, Junior Achievement and the "Make a Difference Day" campaign. In 2006, Paul and his wife Mindee started the Foundation for Life, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization established as a vehicle through which BFG employees could provide financial support to charities throughout their local communities. Since it's inception, the Foundation for Life has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support many local charities. Paul and Mindee live in Shelton, Connecticut with their three children, Jennee, Sydnee and Paul and their dog Sofee. |

Joe is the Senior Agency Sales Director at Barnum Financial Group, An Office of MetLife. Joe started his career with MetLife 19 years ago as a Financial Services Representative gaining extensive knowledge and experience assisting individuals, families and business owners with their financial goals and objectives. As Senior Agency Sales Director and BFG South Market Leader, Joe leads a team of over 200 highly productive Financial Service Representatives, Advisor Coaches, Sales Managers and Agency Directors. In 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010 Joe was recognized as the number one MetLife Agency Sales Director in the country. He was awarded the Brian H. Early Frontline Excellence Award from GAMA International for being one of the top leaders in the industry. Joe was also named by Fairfield County Business Journal as one of the top 40 leaders under the age of 40 in Fairfield County Joe dedicates his career to building the strongest team of Financial Service Representatives comprised of both experienced representatives who would like to take their career to the next level as well as young professionals. Joe is committed to providing the tools and resources needed to assist these highly productive, entrepreneurial Financial Service Representatives to build a successful practice within the Barnum Financial Group. Joe also gives back to his community by coaching youth baseball and basketball, as well as contributing time and resources to several local charities and organizations. Maria is an Agency Sales Director with Barnum Financial Group, An Office of MetLife. As an Agency Sales Director, Maria is dedicated to building a highly productive team of Financial Services Representatives. She is committed to providing the tools and resources needed to assist these Financial Service Representatives to build a successful practice within Barnum Financial Group. Maria is a former "Husky" women's basketball player with the University of Connecticut who helped lead her team to three Division I National Championship victories. In addition, Maria was the Head Coach of the Women's Basketball Team at Southern Connecticut State University and led them to win the National Championship in 2005. Maria currently lives in Milford, CT with her husband Carmine. In her free time Maria enjoys public speaking and giving back to her community by volunteering her time with various charitable organizations. |

As a seventeen year veteran of MetLife, Joe has held various roles including financial services representative, financial planner, and market leader. Currently, he manages an office of over fifty advisors where he endeavors to provide the necessary resources for the success of his team and their clients. He has been a perennial management leader's qualifier and is routinely ranked as one of the top Agency Sales Directors in the MetLife distribution. In 2008, Joe won Barnum Financial Group's Management Award of Excellence. Additionally, he is a member of NAIFA and GAMA International and has qualified for the GAMA platinum award. As a part of BFG, Morris is committed to building a team of diverse professionals and providing them with continuous and current training opportunities and resources that help them build their business and maximize opportunities. Clients turn to BFG because of our longevity, the service we provide and the experience that has made us the strong and stable company we are today. Morris has been in the industry since 2003 and is an experienced manager. He joined BFG from Prudential where he started as an advisor and was quickly promoted to the position of Branch Manager for the Middlebury Office. During his time at Prudential, he qualified for MDRT and President's Conference in his first year, and finished #2 in the country for Rookie of the Year. As a Manager with Prudential he was consistently ranked as one of the top 15 managers nationwide. During his first year at BFG, he achieved a monumental milestone by becoming #3 Sales Director in all of MetLife and now Morris leads a team of 30 advisors. In this role, Ketans primary responsibility is to recruit, train and develop qualified candidates in multi-cultural and diverse markets who are interested in building a successful career in financial services at one of MetLife premier agencies. Ketan came to Barnum Financial Group, an Office of MetLife from American Express Financial Advisors. While at Barnum Financial Group Ketan received the Fast Start Award in 2003, qualified for Leaders Conference in 2004 & 2005 and received the Rookie of the Year award in 2005. He successfully acquired the prestigious Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2008. Ketan is also licensed in Life & Health & Property & Casualty Insurance and has passed the Series 7, Series 66 and the CLTC(Certified in Long Term Care) exams. Ketan is actively involved with Toastmasters International, the worldwide organization which helps individuals improve their communication and leadership skills. He successfully served as a Club President in 2010-2011 and helped his club achieve the President's Distinguished Award for the 1st time in its history. He now serves as an Area Governor with the same organization. Ketan believes in being a positive role model for school kids. He is a regular volunteer with Junior Achievement in helping school kids learn about business and economics and mentors every week at the Shelton school system. Mindee and her team are authorities in the above focus areas and continually work to bring the most up to date information and cutting edge technology and tools to the advisors and clients of Barnum Financial Group. Prior to her current role, Mindee was responsible for overseeing the firm’s available portfolio of protection products which included, Life Insurance, Disability Income Insurance and Long-Term Care Insurance. Mindee successfully trained and developed her team into having the most efficient processes and procedures for placing new business enterprise wide. In addition, Mindee is also responsible for overseeing the real estate development of the firm, including expanding the office into additional areas of CT as well as NYC, White Plains, Hartford, RI and MA. She also plays a pivotal role in BFG's charitable giving opportunities and serves on the Board of the Foundation for Life, a charitable organization she founded with her husband Paul. She is responsible for sales within Barnum Benefits Group, BFG's benefits division. Barnum Benefits supports BFG advisors with a team of experts in health insurance, ancillary group benefits, voluntary benefits, as well as executive benefits, including pensions. Natalina is also responsible for Auto and Home sales throughout BFG. She manages a team of P&C Specialists to support and advise the BFG Advisors on their clients' needs for home owners, renters, auto, and umbrella policies. Natalina's third area of responsibility is working with industry experts and BFG advisors to strengthen and formalize existing alliances, while building new relationships. This includes running BFG's Brokerage Department in working with Independent brokers. |

As a part of Barnum's management team, Michelle is responsible for overseeing the on boarding team, assist the firm with human resource needs, lead performance management and identifying internal and external talent to maintain the growth of the firm. Michelle has over a decade of experience selecting, retaining and developing sales managers and professionals, along with the execution of the market calendar. Prior to joining MetLife, Michelle was promoted seven times within Estee Lauder May Corporation. In her last position, a Clinique Account Executive, Michelle was responsible for a 12 million dollar territory which was spread throughout 4 states and included 21 managers. Michelle grew up in Oneonta, NY and attended the State University of New York, Morrisville. There, she studied Business Administration and competed in Track & Field. Currently, Michelle resides in Oxford with her husband Chuck and their son Alex and daughter Riley. |

In addition, she oversees all in house database projects and manages our Middle Market Sales Team. Janice joined Barnum Financial Group in August of 2009 as Marketing Database Director. She has over 20 years experience in direct and database marketing solutions in the areas of CRM, customer segmentation, modeling, profiling, data quality and industry best practices. Janice has experience on the client, vendor and agency sides of the business bringing a comprehensive perspective to the development, implementation and ongoing management of marketing database programs and knowledge of CRM. Prior to joining BFG, Janice worked for GLP Partners where she was Partner, Direct Marketing and Database Practice. Prior to becoming a Direct Marketing Consultant, Janice worked for Experian Marketing Services, where she concentrated on financial services, energy, packaged goods and telecom verticals. She also worked for MetLife as Director of Decision Support where she directed the establishment of the Institutional Marketing Customer Relationship Datamart. This served as an integral tool used to identify sales and cross-sell opportunities with clients and prospects to drive 35% sales growth in one year. Janice graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Janice and Dave reside in Deep River, CT where they love to take horseback riding lessons. |

As a Regional PlanSmart Director, Allison formulates and implements the marketing strategy of this program. Allison works with Barnum's Financial Advisors and MetLife's Institutional Account Team to capitalize on their existing relationships with corporations. She then places and integrates Barnum PlanSmart Advisors into the "on-site" Financial Advisor teams of the PlanSmart Program. Barnum's PlanSmart team sells and implements over 600 seminars annually at 150 customer sites between Rhode Island and Newark, NJ. Prior to coming to Barnum, Allison had worked in sales and management for thirteen years, including positions as General Manager for Olsten Staffing Services in Connecticut and Western Massachusetts, and Institutional Account Manager for Aetna/US. She brings over 30 years of extensive financial and business management experience in financial services firms and professional services organizations. Pessie comes to BFG from MetLife Corporate where she had been an Assistant Vice President with the Financial Management Group in Bridgewater, New Jersey managing a team of finance professionals who supported both Individual and Institutional Business with budget oversight of $7 Billion for the enterprise. Prior to joining MetLife in 2006, she was Vice President of Strategy & Planning for Prudential Investments for 7 years supported both the offices of CFO and EVP of Marketing. From 1984 to 1998, Pessie spent over 14 years with Towers Watson Worldwide as the Finance & Administration Officer at one of the subsidiary office in New Jersey. Pessie holds MBA degree from Iona College in Finance, International Business Management, undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Marketing from Pace University and St. Thomas Aquinas College.
